Every figure here is checked against a primary source and carries the date it was verified. Where a company's own pages disagree, we show you both — rather than quietly picking one.

California and Utah Goldback Preorders 2026
Officially launched 25 August 2026 — both denomination lineups, how pricing works, and the mintages nobody has published.
Why This Site Exists
Goldbacks are a small market with a lot of confident writing in it. Much of what circulates is out of date, copied second-hand, or repeats a figure nobody has checked.
That matters here because the companies involved change published terms without saying so. In one fortnight we watched a dealer rewrite its entire lease rate structure with no announcement, and found its own pages disagreeing about early-termination fees. Anyone reading a guide written three months earlier was reading fiction.
- 1
Read the Source
If we cannot reproduce a claim from the page it is attributed to, we do not publish it.
- 2
Date It
Every figure states when it was published or observed. A number without a date is not information.
- 3
Report Conflicts
When two official pages disagree, you get both — and the caveat travels with the figure.
- 4
Admit the Gaps
Unpublished mintages and undefined terms are stated plainly as unknown.
